Lecture Series Poster

I created a lecture series poster starting from an assigned word. My initial word was “distant”. The first part of the project was to create a mind map of words that came from our initial word. We picked 3 words that best suited our idea for the lecture and made 3 additional mind maps. The word I settled on along the design process was “removed”. I then came up with 8 experimental words. I created Punnett squares to develop designs for images and text. I did a few concept poster before landing on my final design. This lecture series discusses the constructs of individuals who are socially removed from typical thought. I used the theme of a spider specifically inspired by the brown recluse, as they are a very solitary creatures.
