Type Manipulation + 4 Elements

The goal was to create a series of 4 posters using only one typeface and black and white as a color palette. The type I chose to use was Univers as I felt it would be compatible with all 4 elements. For earth I made a cracked design to invoke soil or rock. For air I tried to give the impression of the text being blown by the unseen element. With water I wanted to replicate that wobbly movement that objects in water appear to display. For fire I wanted to take away parts of the structure of the word as its burned away.
